Hulu stated Live TV on Xbox 360 at $40 per month. The video service launched the revamped version of its app on the game console Tuesday, in turn also giving Xbox 360 owners the ability to subscribe to and access its live TV service.
Hulu recently launched its live TV streaming services on various platform, including XBOX ONE, iOS, Android, Chromecast, Apple TV. Hulu also launched Live TV services on Amazon Fire TV and Amazon Fire Stick. Hulu launched all these services at just $40 per months.
Hulu’s live TV service costs $39.99 per month for access to over 50 channels of live television and standard Hulu; a regular Hulu subscription starts at $7.99 per month.
If you’re still watching Hulu on your Xbox 360, here’s some great news for you. The on-demand streaming service has just expanded its new “Hulu Experience” interface to the almost 12-year-old Microsoft console. The best part is that you won’t have to do a thing — the update will happen automatically. Plus, you’ll have the option to subscribe to Hulu’s live TV plan, currently in beta, right from your console.
To access the service on your Xbox, you’ll first need to subscribe to the Hulu Live TV service. From there you’ll enter your ZIP code to see all the channels available in your area. Like the other rollouts, you also can check out Hulu’s original content, exclusive series and movies available in Hulu’s library or choose to add premium channels like SHOWTIME and HBO.
The new app allows Hulu users to create up to six viewing profiles, complete with personalized video recommendations for each of them. The app comes with a onboarding procedure to personalize results from the get-go, and then learns over time from actual viewing behavior.
Hulu is still missing out a major gaming console which is Sony PlayStation 4, it is so because sony has its own Live TV service. But still Hulu will surely give tough competition to the Live Tv services which are available on all gaming console and other TV services.
