Microsoft took the stage on 2nd day at E3 2017 event and it was awesome. They showed about 42 game and of course the Project Scorpion whose real name is XBOX ONE X, Microsoft made many announcements, trailers and gameplays. The Microsoft event at E3 was really a blast, many games, 4K hardware and many more.
Here’s what Microsoft announced at E3 2017
- XBOX ONE X is the official name of Project Scorpio
- XBOX ONE X price is $499 and it goes on sale November 7
- FORZA 7 launches on October 3 for Xbox One X, Xbox One and Windows 10

- ASSASSIN’S CREED: ORIGIN takes place in ancient Egypt
XBOX ONE X
I already knew that Project Scorpio is a hardware improvement in the existing Microsoft gaming console XBOX. Xbox One X — as we already knew — is a souped-up successor to the Xbox One, with more graphical power than the comparable PlayStation 4 Pro. The One X supports 4K gameplay and promises “super sampling” that’s supposed to make graphics look better on 1080p TVs as well. It’s compatible with existing Xbox One accessories, and maintains support for backwards-compatible Xbox 360 games.
Phil Spencer marches on stage to tell us about the XBOX ONE X, the final name for Project Scorpio. Kareem Choudhry, Head of Xbox Software Engineering, took the stage to talk Xbox One X specs, compatibility, features, the Scorpio engine. Xbox One X will be out on November 7th, and it’ll cost £449 in the UK, a hundred dollars more than the PlayStation 4 Pro.
FORZA MOTORSPORT 7
Forza Motorsport 7 got a release date. It will run at native 4K on Xbox One X and features 700 cars. During the conference, 4K announcement trailer and a few minutes of Forza 7 gameplay were shown on the stage.
Forza 7 is also the graphical powerhouse you’d expect. It runs at 60 frames per second at 4K resolution, rendering cars in hyper-realistic detail, and the game itself goes on sale October 3rd.
ASSASSIN’S CREED ORIGIN
Microsoft finally declared about the rumoured game Assassin’s Creed: Origin, and yes, it’s really coming. Official game trailer was shown during the press conference. Set in Egypt, the latest in the Assassin’s Creed series tells the story of a man named Bayek, who Ubisoft Creative Director Jean Guesdon describes as an “Egyptian sheriff.” The Assassin’s Creed Origins gameplay demo showed Bayek returning to his hometown of Siwa to kill a fake oracle named Medunamun.
Assassin’s Creed Origins is about a magi (“An Egyptian sheriff, if you like”) who returns home to kill an oracle and his henchmen with a lot of pleasantly over-the-top powers. You can scope out situations with a pet bird, and when you shoot your bow, you can leap into an arrow’s-eye view and guide its course. The game is coming out October 27th on all platforms.
CRACK DOWN 3
Crackdown 3 has come back after a very long time. Microsoft has been dragging out the Crackdown 3 announcement for years, but now the explosive shooter has a release date: November 7th.

Though there was no mention of VR from Microsoft, but they upgrade their hardware for 4K gaming, which is pretty good. But the price of the new hardware just for getting a 4K gameplay doesn’t sounds well. Microsoft revealed all the rumours about many games, making games compatible for XBOX ONE, it was all a great event.
