Pirates of Caribbean 5 leaked on internet in BluRay because of WannaCry Ransomware
WannaCry Ransomware is the biggest cyber-attack till date. The attack is very huge and many of the computers are still affected. In just 2 days it taken down almost 100 countries and infected millions of computer, asking them to send bitcoins to get their computer decrypted.
On 15th May a hacker group called The DarkOverLord threatened Disney that if they didn’t pay ransom in Bitcoins and if they will not pay the amount they will release the most awaited movie of 2017 Pirates of Caribbean 5 (Dead Men Tell no Tales). Disney didn’t paid the amount the given time, and on 16th May the download links of this movie was found on internet.
The Disney production is working with FBI to take down all the download links and delete those files. They also working hard to catch the hackers group those who are behind all this. And as per the rumours says then next movie in the hackers list is Cars 3. Netflix is also taking all possible safety measures to protect their website and files.
Even though the cyber security team deleted the deleted the links but since once it was uploaded on the torrent sites, there is a possibility that someone already have downloaded the movie before being deleted. And hence it may come back again on the internet.
In just 4 days we have so many reports of affected computers from this WannaCry Ransomware. Many banks, ATMs, college, offices and hospitals are affected from this ransomware. Hackers are demanding ransom amount in Bitcoins. However, from this crisis the Global Corporate investment plans to invest $1 trillion on the cyber security over next four years, annual cybercrime losses are expected to be rise from $3 Trillion in 2015 to $6 Trillion a year in 2021.
